Kannapolis City Schools cancel after-school activities
Kannapolis City Schools have canceled all after-school activities for this afternoon and evening due to the forecast of inclement weather. No decision about tomorrow has been made yet.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures have dropped below freezing and patchy freezing rain and drizzle could lead to patches black ice developing overnight. Little to no accumulation is expected.
Superintendent Dr. Lynn Moody has asked all Rowan-Salisbury principals to have after-school activities completed by 7 p.m. tonight.
