SALISBURY — The city of Salisbury reported Friday night that the majority of roads inside the city limits have been plowed.
If your road has not been plowed, Street Division Manager Craig Powers asks you to send an email with your address to plow@salisburync.gov.
Garbage services will resume this weekend. Residents whose garbage was not picked up on their normal pickup day are asked to place their rollout bins at the curb until emptied. City crews will complete outstanding garbage pick-up by Sunday evening.
Salisbury public transit service will run as follows on Saturday:
• Route 2 (Red Route) will run its regular Saturday schedule with stops at Old Concord/East Monroe Street, Walmart, Rowan County Health Department, U.S. Post Office, Horah Street/Institute Street, Old Wilkesboro Road, Lash Drive, Civic Park Apartments and South Caldwell Street.
• Route 3 (Blue Route) will run its regular Saturday schedule with modifications in East Spencer due to road conditions. Stops include Lafayette Apartments, Weant Street Apartments, North Long Street, Kiddie Land, Rowan Regional Medical Center and the VA Medical Center.
