Rain, rain is here to stay
It’s going to be a wet and weird weather week, starting off with rain today and dropping temperatures.
Winds could gust as high as 20 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service, which also predicts a quarter- to a half-inch of rain. Tonight’s low will dip down to 34 degrees.
Expect fog in the morning and a high of only 40 degrees with a 70 percent chance of more rain. Tuesday night won’t bring much of a temperature change, with 38 for the low, but the rain chance goes up to 80 percent.
Wednesday warms up to about 63 degrees, with morning showers and a 70 percent chance of rain. Nighttime temperatures will be at or below the freezing mark.
Thursday, we should see a peak of sun, with a high of 46, but Friday brings a new chance of rain, snow or freezing rain and highs near 43. Precipitation chances go up to 50 percent Friday night with a low of 33.
Saturday — you guessed it — a chance of rain and 46. And to round out the weekend, Sunday has a 50 percent chance of precipitation with highs near 44 and a possibility of snow mixed with the rain.
Rain gear will be your constant companion this week.
