Waterworks Visual Arts Center is celebrating New Orleans style for this year’s Oyster Roast.
Big Daddy’s of Lake Norman will be steaming delicious oysters and shrimp with all the sides.
College Barbecue will provide pork barbecue sliders and Brunswick stew.
Wash it all down with beer, wine and other beverages.
Dessert will include ice cream bar from Curt and Geri’s and a coffee bar from Koco Java.
Ticket price of $85 per person includes food and drink.
This year’s signature drink will come with the purchase of a “rocks” glass. For $10, enjoy the take-home glass and unlimited pours of a specially hand-crafted Whiskey Sour.
After dinner, continue partying with friends by dancing to your favorite music.
Purchase tickets online at waterworks.org or by calling 704-636-1882.
This is a great opportunity to spend an evening with friends while supporting our visual arts museum in fulfilling its mission to provide diverse opportunities in the arts for all people through exhibitions, education and outreach programs.
All proceeds support Waterworks’ educational and outreach programming.
