Civitans getting ready for annual ball at Meadows of Rockwell

ROCKWELL — The Rockwell Civitan Club is preparing for its upcoming fourth Winter Wonderland Ball to be held for the residents of the The Meadows of Rockwell.
Several members and officers of the club spent hours recently looking for the right dresses and suits for the ladies and gentlemen to wear for the Jan. 28 event. Puddle Jumpers consignment shop in Rockwell donated use of its inventory for the guests to wear.
Club secretary Woody Weddington hand-delivered invitations to the residents. Members of the Rockwell Rural Fire Department will volunteer their time to serve as escorts and dance with the residents.
The Winter Wonderland Ball will be held in the dining room of The Meadows of Rockwell on Tuesday, Jan. 28 between 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
