Masons hold blood drive today

SALISBURY — Masons in Rowan County and across the region are holding the 25th annual Masonic Community Blood Drive today in hopes of collecting 300 units of blood.
Rowan Masons are holding their drive today from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Fulton Masonic Lodge, 401 N. Fulton St.
“We are so grateful for our wonderful and long-standing partnership with the Masons, especially during a challenging time to collect blood right after the holidays,” said Steve Maness, vice president of the Southeast Blood Services Division. “Donating blood only takes about an hour, but the benefits can be lifesaving for a patient in your community.”
Others participating nearby include the Statesville Masonic Drive at the Statesville Civic Center, 300 S. Center St., Statesville, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and the Mooresville Masonic Drive, at the Charles Mack Citizens Center, 215 N. Main St., Mooresville, from 2 to 7 p.m.
