CONCORD — Laura Jordan Hagen and Joshua Franklin Abernethy were married Nov. 23, 2013, at The Farm at Brusharbor. The Rev. Robert Lovett officiated the ceremony, which was followed by a reception.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Terry Brown and Ralph Hagen, all of Concord, and the granddaughter of Laura Osborne, Ned Reece and Jack and Betty Osborne, all of Kannapolis. She is employed by Cabarrus County Schools.
The groom is the son of Frank and Judy Abernethy of China Grove and the grandson of J.F. and Helen Price of China Grove. He is employed by Universal Automotive.
The couple will make their home in China Grove.
