The Delta Xi Omega Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is hosting a pre-Thanksgiving “Down Home Dinner Dance” on Saturday, Nov. 23 at Salisbury Civic Center, 315 S. Martin L. King Jr. Ave.
Dinner is from 6-8 p.m., and dancing is 8 p.m. until midnight, featuring DJ Peaches. The dress is casual.
The cost for a single ticket is $25 and a couple is $40. Proceeds from this event will help support the sorority’s community projects. Catering is by the Livingstone College Culinary Program. Tickets can be obtained from sorority members or by calling 704-637-3907.
