Sowers – Seal

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lewis Sowers of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Blair Sowers, to Hunter Scott Seal of Richmond, Va. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gregory Seal of Richmond.
Blair is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Monroe King of Winston-Salem and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Lewis Sowers of Salisbury. A 1996 graduate of Oldfields School in Glencoe, Md., she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Hollins University in 2000. She is a legal assistant with the law firm of Hancock, Daniel, Johnson and Nagle, P.C. in Richmond.
Hunter is the grandson of Mr. Andrew Warren Waymack of San Antonio, Texas, the late Mary Thurston Waymack of Richmond and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Atwell Hunt Seal Jr. of Richmond. A 1992 graduate of Mills E. Godwin High School, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Virginia Military Institute in 1996. He is a manager in the commercial banking division with Capitol One Financial in Richmond.
A spring wedding is planned at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Salisbury.
