Firefighters battle early morning blaze in Rockwell

ROCKWELL — Firefighters were on the scene of a two-alarm residential blaze early this morning.
The fire at 415 Troxler Road was called in around 12:20 p.m.
Firefighters arrived to find flames showing in the eave of an attached garage and the house filled with smoke.
After about 15 minutes, they called a second alarm to bring in additional manpower.
The fire was still not out at 1 a.m.
Firefighters had called for an investigator from the Rowan County Fire Marshall’s Office.
