American Red Cross holds blood drives for November

The American Red Cross is encouraging donors to look and feel their best by giving the gift of life during the “Saving Lives Never Looked So Good” promotion. Present to donate blood or platelets now through Nov. 30, and be entered to win one of three $1,000 gift cards to use on a gym membership, spa treatment, car detailing — whatever makes you look and feel good.
The “Saving Lives Never Looked So Good” promotion gives donors the opportunity to make a difference in patients’ lives, while giving them a chance to pamper themselves, too.
The Red Cross Carolinas Blood Services Region provides lifesaving blood to patients in more than 100 hospitals. Approximately 1,600 people need to give blood or platelets each week day to meet hospital demands.
