Carson volleyball on road

Carson’s volleyball team will play on the road at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Hickory St. Stephens.
Both teams are undefeated. Carson is 33-0. St. Stephens is 27-0.
The NCHSAA no longer uses conference seeding priority to determine a venue when equal seeds meet, instead using winning percentage.
Since both teams have a perfect winning percentage, a draw was held Sunday — and Carson suffered its first loss of the season.
Carson is no stranger to the road. The Cougars won everywhere from Enka to Marvin Ridge last season on their path to the 3A championship game.
Top golfers will compete for state championships today and Tuesday.
