Book sales at Kannapolis and Rowan Public Library offer bargains

Mark your calendar for the Friends of Rowan Public Library Annual Book Sale. The sale will be at RPL Headquarters (Salisbury) Friday, Nov. 1, 6-8 p.m., members only preview sale, memberships available at door for $10; Saturday, Nov. 2, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 3, 1-4 p.m.; Monday, Nov. 4, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Items include fiction and nonfiction hardbacks and paperbacks; children’s books; DVD and VHS videos; audiobooks and more. Most items will be $2 or less. Christmas baskets will also be available.

The Friends of the Kannapolis Library fall book sale will be Oct. 25, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Oct. 26, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Old Cabarrus Bank building in Cannon Village. Nearly new books, DVDs and CDs, donated by library users, will be available for $2 or less.
Proceeds provide materials for the Kannapolis Branch and its special programs. For more information, call 704-920-1180.
