SALISBURY — The owner of Benchwarmers says he plans to open a restaurant next to the bar and add a balcony to the second story.
Todd Littleton said he plans a $500,000 makeover of the Mowery Building on East Fisher Street. The building stands in the heart of the city’s entertainment district.
Littleton recently bought the building and said construction will start after the first of the year. Bricks started falling off the front of the building in June, and Littleton had to remove the entire facade.
The front of the building remains wrapped in plastic. The 2,200-square-foot restaurant will go into a space that formerly housed a hair salon and barber shop, Littleton said.
