Club appreciation game scheduled for Tuesday

There will be a club appreciation game held during the Women’s Club meeting Tuesday. Come and win higher point awards.
It is often heard at tournaments that “these computer hands are awful!” Those hands are random deals spit out by the computer so hand records can be printed.
When I set up the boards, I shuffle each deck the recommended 7 times and then deal. What you see when you pick up your hand is the result of that shuffle/deal procedure.
Once again our Evergreen game was well attended and the hands were challenging.
Winners were: First, Pat Featherston and Dick Brisbin; second, Ruth Bowles and Marie Pugh; third, Judy Hurder and Gloria Bryant; fourth, Harold and Carol Winecoff.
Featured board No. 2 is an example of how well the hand was defended.
The Hill/Bremsher pair scored best N/S setting their opponent’s 5SW 3 tricks, while the best E/W score was made by theCreekmore/Shadroui pair who bid and made 4SW+1.
What would you lead to obtain a defeat of opponent bid? How can you play to make your bid? N/S vulnerable EAST dealer
