11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. — OctoberTour Luncheon: Featuring a lecture by architectural historian Davyd Foard Hood, who will present his findings on the 1820 Fulton-Mock-Blackmer House. Following the luncheon, guests may tour the house and see Historic Salisbury’s work to save this Salisbury landmark. Ticketed event.

5 to 9 p.m. — OctoberTour Night Out, Historic Downtown Salisbury: Downtown shops open late with promotions, musical entertainment and children’s area. Last chance to buy discounted OctoberTour tickets. Free event sponsored by Salisbury Rowan Convention and Visitors Bureau.

5 to 7 p.m. — OctoberTour After Hours and Artist Reception. Enjoy wine and refreshments on the Hall House lawn while admiring paintings completed during the Oil Painters of America Paint Out.

Browse educational literature, membership information and a display of artifacts from the 1896 Grimes Mill, which was lost to fire this past January. Enter a raffle to win a knife crafted from materials salvaged from the mill.
• Visit 315 East Bank Street to enjoy the Living History Encampment. The 63rd Regiment of the North Carolina Confederate Troops, Reactivated, will camp, soldiers will march, fire volley, discuss war strategy, tell stories, and answer questions.
• Salisbury Confederate Prison Association at 320 East Bank St. will have images, maps and books under a tent as members share about the military prison that was active December 1861 to February 1865.
