Two new doctors in medical park off Julian Road

SALISBURY — Novant Health has opened a new pediatric clinic in Rowan County.
Novant Health Rowan Pediatrics is located at 530 Corporate Circle in Salisbury in the medical park off Julian Road. This new pediatric clinic includes Dr. Scott Agbuya and Dr. Ashley Ferguson.
Agbuya obtained his bachelor of science from Florida State University. He attended medical school at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed his internship and residency at the Eastern Virginia Medical School and the Pediatrics Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk.
He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Osteopathic Association.
Ferguson obtained her bachelor of science from North Carolina State University. She attended medical school at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and also completed her internship and residency at the Eastern Virginia Medical School and the Pediatrics Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.
She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.
Both physicians recently relocated from Virginia to Salisbury to open this practice.
In October, a third pediatrician will join the practice, Dr. Jomari Torres, who is currently completing work as a pediatric hospitalist.
