Means proved he’s ready for the regular season by his performance in the North Stanly Jamboree on Saturday.
Means intercepted three passes and knocked down several balls. Known as all-county defensive back, he even caught a touchdown pass on offense.
East opens its season Aug. 23 at home against North Rowan.
