SALISBURY — Rowan Concerned Citizens, a new community group, will host an update panel discussion at 6:30 p.m. today about changes to state law that will affect residents of Rowan County and North Carolina.
The event will be held at East Square Artworks Gallery, 120 E. Innes St. in Salisbury, located at the rear of parking lot behind Dee’s Jewelry.
Anyone with concerns regardless of party affiliation is encouraged to attend and participate in an open discussion about new laws and proposed bills, including voter ID, government health programs and educational funding cuts.
The group first gathered on June 20 to discuss state legislative issues.
