Sterling Weaver and Barbara Frable Weaver of Salisbury celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 12, 2013. They were married May 12, 1963, in Lehighton, Pa.
The Weavers have two children, Mary Jean and husband Clarence Hobart of Rockwell and Matthew Weaver of Boone. They also have two grandchildren, Luke and Caroline Hobart.
The anniversary celebration was held in Boone on May 12, Mothers Day, with the family also attending their son, Matthew’s, graduation at Appalachian State University.
