In an 11-1 victory over Kernersville, second baseman made several diving defensive stops to help Rowan pitchers hold off one of the best teams in the Area. The East Rowan product also had two hits and drove in two runs as Rowan took an early lead and never look back.

Caldwell and Rowan return to action on Wednesday at home against Randolph.
