A summer filled with bridge games

Warm weather and vacations are upon us. There are many opportunities for bridge tournaments nearby.
Greenville, SC is hosting a Regional Tournament Monday through Sunday, June 16.
A good opportunity for Red, Silver and Gold points.
Sectionals are being held in Raleigh June 6 to June 23, in Asheville June 28 to June 30, in Durham July 11 to July 14 and in our sister city of Winston-Salem July 19 to July 21. You can find all details about these tournaments on the www.mabc.org website.
Remember to support our own Salisbury clubs on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. at the women’s Club and Fridays at Rufty-Holmes Senior Center at 1 p.m. We will be running all summer.
May 31 Evergreen winners were first, Harold and Carol Winecoff; second, Marie Pugh and Ruth Bowles; third, Becky Creekmore and Stella Shadroui; fouth, Chuck and Margaret Rimer.
Our featured board is board #2 from Evergreen. N/S vul East dealer. The best N/S score was made by the Macon/Pegram pair defeating their opponent’s 5SW-2 and the best E/W score was made by the McLaughlins who defeated opponent’s 5SW*-1
