Christiana Lutheran Church’s contemporary worship service, “Jumpstart,” is held on the third Sunday of each month at 8:15 a.m.
It is 45 minutes of high energy praise and worship with favorite contemporary Christian songs and a time of fellowship that begins at 8 a.m. with a light breakfast.
During the 10:30 a.m. service, Christiana’s high school and college graduates, including Christian Eller, Kaitlin Crouch, Andrew Litaker, Brittney Ritchie, Amy Shank and Ryan French, will be honored.
Christiana is located five miles south of I-85 at 6190 U.S. 52, across from Old Stone Winery.
First United Church of Christ, 207 W. Horah St., will celebrate Camp Sunday during the 11 a.m. informal service Sunday in the fellowship hall.
If you have one of your old camp shirts from John’s River Valley Camp or other camps please wear it.
Church members will remember days at camp with the singing of camp and vacation Bible school songs.
This is a special celebration of John’s River Valley Camp, First UCC Youth, and the upcoming youth mission trip the week of July 14.
Following the service, the youth will be selling hot dogs with all the trimmings to raise money for the mission trip.
Dessert will be provided by “Mr Cone.” Food will be served in the fellowship hall with tables available, or bring your blankets to eat outside.

CHINA GROVE — FUMC, China Grove will sponsor a program on Project AGAPE, North Carolina support to Armenia, on Wednesday.
The program will be presented by Nara Melkonyan, Project AGAPE director from Armenia.
Gary’s BBQ will cater a meal beginning at 5:30 and the program will start at 6:15 p.m.
The program will be followed with a dessert auction with the proceeds going toward building materials for the mission team in September.

Speaker at the morning service is the Rev. Don Davis, chaplain of the American Legion Post 1145 of Kannapolis. He will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and pay tribute to service personnel.
An All Color Guard will present the flag and there will be a medley of armed services songs and patriotic songs.

Nadler grew up a Jewish kid on the streets of New York City, became a completed Jew when he accepted Jesus Christ and began a ministry of outreach to Jews and Gentiles soon thereafter.

Neckties will be a gifted to a national Ecuadorean pastor and jewelry gifted to his wife.
