SALISBURY — Local community members will get the chance to voice their views Monday on the search for a new Rowan-Salisbury School System superintendent.
The Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education will hold a public forum from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday at the school system’s main administrative office, 110 S. Long St. in East Spencer.
Individuals will be given three minutes each to address the board. Those interested in speaking can sign up Monday evening at the meeting.
Dr. Judy Grissom plans to retire as superintendent on Sept. 30. She has been head of the school system since 2005.
The Board of Education began looking for a new superintendent in early April and tentatively plans to announce its choice for superintendent on Aug. 26.
