Greensboro man dies on mo-ped in hit and run

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — A Greensboro man has died after he was struck and killed while riding a mo-ped.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol says 64-year-old Timothy Jones Minor died of his injuries at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

Investigators are looking for the driver of a red Dodge pickup in connection with the crash.

Witnesses said the pickup driver passed another car near an intersection about 6 p.m. Saturday. Minor was driving in front of the second vehicle on a mo-ped.

Trooper Greg Ingram says the driver ran over the man on the mo-ped and never stopped.
