The Cavalier freshman had the best week of his young varsity career as North routed two opponents on the road and finished the Yadkin Valley Conference regular season a perfect 16-0. 

In a 90-50 win over West Montgomery, Sanders had a career–high 19 points. He helped break the game open in the second quarter with two free throws and a basket on consecutive trips. In a 116-44 win over South Davidson, Sanders added 15.

Sanders and North Rowan have won 20 games four straight seasons and open the YVC tournament tonight at home against South Davidson at 7 p.m.
