GREENSBORO (AP) About a week after local officials agreed to pay $2 million worth of incentives, Procter & Gamble says it will hire 200 more workers at its Greensboro plan.
The company said Friday it also will spend $100 million to add a new skin-care product line to the plant.
Procter & Gamble’s decision came after two votes on incentives last week by the Greensboro City Council and the Guilford County Board of Commissioners. The incentives are payable over three years once the company completes the upgrade and hires the workers.
