Kenneth Daniel Mowery, 18, is receiving his Eagle Scout Award today, Feb. 10, 2013, at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Scoutmaster Henry Trexler of Troop 443 is presenting the award.
Daniel has earned 21 merit badges and last held the position of Jr. Assistant Scoutmaster. He is a member of Order of the Arrow and Venture Crew and has earned his 50 Miler, Kayaking BSA and other awards. His Eagle project included distributing door-to-door advertising about the opening of the new Habitat for Humanity store, as well as painting the cinderblock section at the new location.
A 2012 graduate of Salisbury High School, Daniel was a member of the National Honor Society and lettered in tennis and band, receiving the Quincy Jones Musicianship Award. He is also a lifelong member of St. John
