Chinese New Year events sponsored by NCRC

Singing, dancing, food, crafts and a business showcase highlight the Cabarrus Chinese American Association’s (CCAA) Second Annual Chinese New Year Celebration.
Presented in partnership with the Chinese Community Network, the celebration is Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cox Mill Hill School, 1355 Cox Mill Road near Concord Mills Mall. The CCAA’s New Year Celebration is a family oriented event that had more than 500 people in attendance last year. Organizers expect more this year.
The event is free for everyone to enjoy children’s activities presented by the Cabarrus Chinese Language and Art School, J.N. Fries Middle School and other organizations. There will also be a craft sale and a cultural and business showcase. The China Caf
