SALISBURY — Authorities say no charges will be filed in a three-vehicle collision Monday on Julian Road.
The crash was a chain reaction after one vehicle stopped for a car making a left-hand turn. The other two cars weren’t able to stop and ran into the back of the first car.
The crash occurred in front Genesis HealthCare at 710 Julian Road around 3 p.m.
The first vehicle, a 2007 Nissan, was driven by Lawrence Eric Buchannan, 23, of South Carolina. The second vehicle, a 2005 Nissan, was driven by Marquita Lester, 23, of Washington, DC.
The third vehicle, a 2009 Nissan, was driven by Natalie Brooke Kluttz, 16, of Mount Hope Church Road, Salisbury. Kluttz was taken to Rowan Regional Medical Center after complaining of back pain.
The vehicles were on Julian Road headed toward Interstate 85. Traffic was stalled in both directions for nearly an hour.
