Skeet shoot to benefit Monroe, Isler funds

There will be a memorial benefit skeet shoot competition and raffle held in honor of fallen firefighters Justin Monroe and Victor Isler on March 9.
The skeet shoot will take place at Rowan County Wildlife and Gun Club in Salisbury.
Registration will start at 7:30 a.m. Pre-registration is available by contacting skeetshootcompetition@yahoo.com or by calling 704-239-6744.
Participants will get 25 targets for $30 when signing as an individual or sign up as a team of five and pay $125. Lunch is included for all participants.
For those who pre-register, the cost for an individual will be $25 and the cost for a team of five will be $115. Pre-registration will end on March 1. Individuals will be placed together to make teams of five.
Prizes will be awarded for the top three teams. Shooters must provide their own ammunition or buy ammunition for $6.50 for a 20-round box. Breakfast, lunch and baked goods will be available for purchase.
Raffle tickets are also available for purchase before and during the event. Donations will be accepted.
All proceeds raised will be distributed between two funds: Justin Monroe Scholarship Fund and Rowan County Fallen Firefighter Scholarship Fund.
