Kassie Watts, assistant planning director, was the author of the report on Kannapolis’ new code enforcement efforts. An article in Tuesday’s Post misidentified the author. The article also incorrectly stated the number of code enforcement officers employed by the city. Before August, two part-time employees performed the role of code enforcement officer.
