PPT’s production of ‘COMPANY’ named Best in the Triad

The Piedmont Triad Theatre Guide has announced its 2012 Commendations. A resource for all theatre lovers in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina and beyond, the Guide’s awards recognize the best Triad theatre had to offer in 2012. This year, there are 30 recipients in nearly 20 categories ranging from technical excellence to best performance and is divided into two divisions; Community (including colleges and universities) and Professional.
In the Community division, Lynne Harrell was named Best Supporting Actress for her role as Amy in PPT’s production of “Company.” Harrell was also nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress for the same role by the Metrolina Theatre Association (MTA).
Reid Leonard received Best Set Design honors for “Company.” MTA awarded Leonard Outstanding Lighting Design for “Company” as well as Outstanding Set Design for PPT’s production of “You Can’t Take it With You.”
