Two charged following raid

SALISBURY — After serving a search warrant at a North Ellis Street home, Salisbury Police arrested two men Wednesday.
Authorities took 30-year-old Andre Antonio Byrd and Theodore Blake, 49, into custody.
Inside the home, deputies found a .32-caliber handgun; a .40-caliber handgun; 6.2 grams, or .22 ounces, of powder cocaine; 1.3 grams, or .05 ounces, of marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Along with the firearms and drugs, officers seized $150 in cash.
Byrd, who lives at the North Ellis Street home, was charged with felony possession of a firearm by a felon, felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Blake was charged with felony possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both Byrd and Blake were released from the Rowan County jail after posting bonds.
