Tabby, chow mix up for adoption
Among the animals waiting for adoption at the Rowan County Animal Shelter:
Pumpernickel is an 11-month-old chow mix who has a wonderful personality and gets along well with all of his kennel mates. He is a sweet fellow who would love to find a warm, loving home where he can spend his days napping and playing. Rowan County Animal Control ID 52404.
This longhaired gray tabby is an adult male. He is quick to please and loves getting attention. He came in as a stray and is hoping to be adopted into a loving home. Rowan County Animal Control ID 52425.
Rowan County Animal Control Shelter hours are Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday, 8-11 a.m.
The shelter is at 1465 Julian Road; 704-216-7768. Adoption fee is $70.
