LANDIS – Allison Dupree and Frank Adams III were united in marriage Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Woodrow Frick officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at The Club at Irish Creek in Kannapolis.
Serving as matron of honor was the brideŐs sister-in-law, Maggie Will; and bridesmaids were Marie Auten, Andrea Beigay, Noel Shields, Starr Forney, Mandi Sweet, Julie Joslin and Kari Ledbetter.
Frank Adams Jr., stood as his sonŐs best man. Groomsmen were Russ Adams, Stewart Adams, Kevin Miller, Brett Dupree, Robbie Ormsby, Will Pope and Douglas Ormsby.
Lainey Sweet was flower girl, and Benjamin Sweet was ring bearer. Pam Adams served as guest registrar.
The bride is the daughter of Edwin and Bitsy Dupree of Faith and sister of Brett Dupree. A 1996 graduate of East Rowan High School and 2001 graduate of Catawba College, she is a Physical Education and Health teacher at Erwin Middle School, in Salisbury, where she also serves as Head Girls Basketball Coach.
The groom is the son of Cathy and Frank Adams Jr. of Laurinburg and brother of Russ and Stewart Adams. A 1998 graduate of Scotland County High School and 2003 graduate of East Carolina University, he is a Professional Golfer.
The couple are honeymooning in Jamaica and will make their home in Salisbury.
Extended courtesies included a Bridesmaid Luncheon given by Maggie Will at The Country Club of Salisbury.
