ENOCHVILLE — Firefighters responded to a mobile home fire off Emanuel Road near North Enochville Avenue on Thursday night.
According to emergency scanner traffic, the fire ignited around 9:15 p.m.
Crews from Enochville, Atwell, Kannapolis and Odell departments responded.
Firefighters began a defense approach of the blaze around 9:30 p.m.
The caller was able to safely get out of the home.
Crews contacted the Rowan County Fire Marshal’s Office about 9:45 p.m. and were still working at the scene an hour later. The Red Cross was called in to assist the occupant.
