Southeast Middle School students have been collecting items to send to Hurricane Victims in the New Jersey area.
The natural disaster hit home for Southeast students because former sixth-grade teacher Karen McCoy and her family were impacted by the storm.
The items will be sent to New Jersey before Christmas. Students who led the drive and helped organize the donations are Olivia Gregory, Kiara Floyd, Zack Scrip, Noe Sifuentes and Molly Yow.
