This week’s Athlete of the Week is North Rowan’s Trae Clark.

Clark, one of coach Joe Nixon’s talented sophomores, had a night to remember in the Cavaliers’ 74-0 romp over South Davidson on Friday, scoring 25 points.

Clark scored three touchdowns in  three different ways. He had a 50-yard interception return in the first quarter. He ran a kickoff back 75 yards for a score in the second quarter. He ran a fumble back 37 yards in the third quarter.

Clark is also North Rowan’s place-kicker and added seven PATs.
