The Salisbury Police Interdiction Team arrested two people after approaching an illegally parked vehicle in the 500 block of East Fisher Street.
Dashon Edward Hopkins, 18, of East Fisher Street, was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance (marijuana) and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
He remains in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $7,500 bond.
Officers found a silver digital scale, multiple bags of marijuana, clear plastic bags and $46 in cash on Hopkins. The items were in his pockets, the report said.
The vehicle was parked at 508 E. Fisher St.
Takeia Charthel Davidson, 22, of Pickler Road, was charged with misdemeanor resist, delay, obstruct an officer.
She was released under a written promise to appear in court. Her court date is slated for Nov. 19.
Authorities said she tried to hide digital scales found in the car.
Both Hopkins and Davidson were passengers in the vehicle and remained in the vehicle. Authorities are still investigating which one was the driver of the vehicle.
