Children of all ages trekked through the streets of downtown Salisbury on Saturday for the Salisbury Parks and Rec Halloween Funfest.The event included trick-or-treating with downtown merchants.
Many downtown business owners participated giving candy and treats to children as they passed by their shops.
There were a number of activities in the Salisbury Post parking lot at South Church and West Fisher streets including carnival games, food, haunted bus rides and hay rides.
Salisbury Parks and Recreation & Rowan County Tourism Development Authority sponsored the event.
