Lee Street Theatre announces the first ever Scrooge’s Christmas Trolley Tour, a trolley tour of historic sites while telling the story of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” Available roles include:
•Ebenezer Scrooge, the main character. Performer should be able to grow facial hair and be age 50+, will have majority of dialogue. • Jacob Marley, male, Scrooge’s old partner, facial hair a plus and should not have a problem with stairs, age 40+ •Ghost of Christmas Past, female, should have fun and bubbly disposition, comedic skills a plus, 30s-60s • Mr. Fezziwig, male, fun disposition, facial hair, red hair a plus, 40s-60s • Young Scrooge, male, ingenue, age 20s • Belle, young Scrooge’s girlfriend, ingenue, 20s •Ghost of Christmas Present, male or female, hearty, full of life, 30s+ • Bob Cratchit, male, Scrooge’s employee, Tiny Tim’s father, sweet, quiet, humble, 30s+ • Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit’s Son, innocent, humble, early teens. • Ghost of Christmas Future, male or female, no lines, tall, any age.
The ‘tour’ will last just over an hour. Rehearsals are Nov. 12-20, flexible schedule on actors’ availability. Weekend performances Nov. 23-Dec.22. Minimum of 2 tours per night and maximum of 4.
