Holiday closings

The city of Salisbury will operate on the following schedule for the Thanksgiving holiday:
? City office buildings, including the Salisbury Customer Service Center and all four recreation centers, will close at 2 p.m. Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday.
? Garbage and recycling collection will occur on schedule.
? No limb collection Thursday or Friday. Collection will take place by Nov. 30.
? No city transit services on Thursday.
? Fibrant technical support will operate from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday and otherwise maintain regular hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekends. For assistance, call 704-216-7567 and select option 2 for internet or option 3 for video or phone.
? Salisbury Rowan Utilities administration will close at 2 p.m. Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday. If you have a water or sewer emergency after hours or during the holiday, call 704-638-5339.
? Salisbury Community Park will be closed Thursday.
Other holiday closings include:
? Rowan County offices will close at 1 p.m. Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday. Recycling centers will close at noon Wednesday and reopen on Saturday. The landfill will be closed Thursday and reopen on Friday, and the processing center will close at noon Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday.
? Rowan Public Library will close at 1 p.m. Wednesday and be closed Thursday and Friday.
? All city of Kannapolis offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday. Garbage and recycling collection will not occur on Thanksgiving Day and will resume on Friday. Garbage and recycling collection service will run on a one-day delay for the remainder of the week. Concord Kannapolis Area Transit (CK Rider) will be closed with no service on Thursday. Transit service will resume on Friday. The customer service office at the Transit Center will remain closed on Friday.
? Spencer town offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
? East Spencer town offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
? Granite Quarry town offices close at noon today and will be closed Thursday and Friday. They will reopen Monday morning. Garbage collection Friday will not be affected by the holiday.
? Rockwell town offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Garbage and recycling collection will occur on schedule.
? Cleveland town hall will be closed Thursday and Friday.
? Faith town hall will be closed Thursday and Friday.
? Landis town hall will be closed Thursday and Friday.
? China Grove town hall will be closed Thursday and Friday.
