There will be a benefit for Pastor Rick Perry and faily Saturday, Nov. 10 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, 3760 Stokes Ferry Road.
For $10 you get a plate of smoked pork barbecue or barbecue chicken and two sides.
Entertainment includes The Gospel Plowboys and friends. There will also be a raffle, children’s activities and an auction.
Auction items include various gift baskets, an acoustic guitar, a solid oak full-length dressing mirror, NASCAR merchandise signed by Denny Hamlin, Mark Martin, Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart, tickets to Tweetsie Railroad, Vera Bradley items, including a luggage set, baked goods, rounds of golf from Warrior Golf Club and McCanless Golf Course, gift cards from restaurants and retailers and more.
