CONCORD — Police cite speed as a contributing factor in a fatal motorcycle wreck Sunday evening.
Jeffrey Mark Walter, 41, of 7944 Grimsby Circle, Harrisburg, was riding a 2009 Suzuki motorcycle southwest on Roberta Road when it appears that he lost control of the motorcycle and ran off of the right side of the roadway at 3074 Roberta Road SW, Concord Police said. 
The crash was reported on Roberta Road near the intersection of Fountainview Avenue about 6 p.m., police said.
Walter was pronounced dead at the scene.
