Two men charged in Spencer burglary

SPENCER – Two Spencer men were arrested Friday in connection with a reported burglary on North Salisbury Avenue.
Spencer police say Samuel Wayne Grandy, 23, of North Salisbury Avenue, and Justin Jarvis Hannah, 23, of Fourth Street, broke into the apartment of Joseph Daniel Hundley between 10 p.m. Wednesday night at 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
According to their arrest warrants, Grandy and Hannah are accused of stealing two laptop computers, a microwave, an XBox 360, miscellaneous DVDs, a sword, a camera and a Washburn electric guitar.
Hannah and Grandy each were charged with second degree burglary and given a $10,000 bond. They were taken to the Rowan County Detention Center, where they remained Sunday night.
