Cornelius ~ Honeycutt

LANDIS — Brittany Dawn Cornelius and Taylor Alexander Honeycutt were united in marriage Aug. 4, 2012, at Landis Baptist Church. Pastor Billy Honeycutt, father of the groom, officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Historic Salisbury Depot.
The bride was escorted by her father and attended by Lindsay Cornelius and Aubrie Cornelius, sisters-in-law of the bride, as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Rachel Honeycutt, sister of the groom; Kelcy Anderson; Nicole Allen; and Courtney Kreber. Flower girl was Lillian Sorg.
John Honeycutt, best man and brother of the groom, was unable to attend due to military service. Groomsmen were Joel Threatt; Brandon Cornelius, Andrew Cornelius and Adam Cornelius, brothers of the bride; and Travis Toscano. Ring bearers were Wyatt and Benjamin Cornelius. Program attendants were Holly Brown and Hunter Johnson. Pianist and soloist was Amanda Witherspoon. An additional soloist was Matthew Jester. A special prayer was dedicated to the couple by Tommy Wyatt.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brown Cornelius of Rockwell and the granddaughter of Mrs. Estelle Wyatt of Landis. A 2006 graduate of East Rowan High School, Brittany received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Meredith College and in 2011, obtained her Master in Accounting at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is employed with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
The groom is the son of Pastor and Mrs. Billy Alexander Honeycutt of Landis and the grandson of Ms. Brenda Evans, Mr. Joel Threatt and Ms. Carol Honeycutt, all of China Grove. A 2009 graduate of Rockwell Christian School, Taylor is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at North Carolina State University. He works part time for Kimley Horn and Associates and will begin full time with the engineering firm in January.
The couple honeymooned in Blowing Rock.
