The Salisbury-Rowan Hispanic Coalition is hosting the annual La Fiesta de Rowan this Saturday at the J.F. Hurley Family YMCA.
The coalition is a subgroup of the Salisbury-Rowan Human Relations Council.
The event, which is free and ope to the public, is from 1 p.m.-6 p.m., 828 W. Jake Alexander Blvd.
Activities include a performance by the Latin Heritage Dance Company, the Miller Center Step Team and a performance from Ultima Nota.
The event will also feature Zumba presented by the YMCA staff.
There will also be a bounce house, a variety of food vendors and a raffle. One of the prizes for the raffle is an iPad.
There will be a special appearance by Glen Magic, Dora the Explorer and McGruff the Crime Dog.
La Fiesta de Rowan is sponsored by the Salisbury Police Department, Food Lion, F&M Bank, the YMCA, Cloninger Ford of Salisbury and El Patron Mexican Grill & Cantina.
