Correction and clarification

g The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will cut $700 billion from Medicare, according to U.S. Rep. Larry Kissell and candidate Richard Hudson. The wrong number was used in a Post story Tuesday about an 8th Congressional District debate.
The same story mentioned a suggested alternative to Medicare would include government payments to seniors’ health insurance premiums. The word “voucher” was used to describe the idea in the Post article, but not during the debate when the candidates responded to it.
