Livingstone students robbed at gunpoint

SALISBURY – Two Livingstone College students were robbed at gunpoint by a large group of teenage suspects near campus Sunday, authorities said.
The two 18-year-old college students told Salisbury Police they were walking to a convenience store on South West Street when “eight to nine” suspects approached them with guns about 8 p.m.
According to the report, at least four of the teens had guns.
When the suspects approached, they yelled, “On crip, give us your money or we’ll kill you,” the report said.
A witness told officers she yelled at the group and they fled into a wooded area near the store.
Most of the men were wearing black hoodies, the report said. One of the suspects was wearing a black and red hoodie.
No further description was provided.
Two cell phones and a wallet were taken in the robbery.
